Larry: This is a classic. I'm sure many motorists passing this sign have had a good laugh at one time or another. "Sleep off The Hiway"... that is great advice. This place also provides a solution although if the sign was 10 feet to the left it would be on the highway. Brett: Yeah, that's probably some of the best wisdom you'll find in all of Seattle, no question about it. This sign seems to be somewhat of a martyr for run down and abandoned motels...flaking paint, rust stains...Is it just me or does the sign remind you of certain religious symbols... Larry: Hmmm...I'm not seeing it. Besides, they wouldn't mix business with politics and religion. Can you make out the hint of their choice for Judge? Brett: Huh... yeah, I'm not seeing it. This sign brings up long suppressed desires to vote and then run off to church. I don't get it. Maybe this sign came from the age before subliminal advertising was made illegal. |
