Back in the day, before I-5, highway 99 was the main drag through Seattle.
In order to attract weary travelers, stunning motel signs were placed right
on the edge of the road. Hundreds of these motels still remain to this day. I
guess one might call it the "Las Vegas Strip of the Pacific Northwest". Enjoy.
