Brett: Is it just me or is there a Thunderbird Motel in every single town in America? I mean, it seems as though even the smallest towns have them.

Larry: Yeah, for some reason naming your Motel "Thunderbird" was a guarantee for success. Especially those ones staffed by "Friendly Natives".

Brett: Huh. Friendly natives... I wonder how politically correct that is. Do you suppose they get to where their native dress and serve native cuisine in the restaurant?

Larry: Planked-Salmon dinners would definitely be a plus but I'd still stay here just knowing that the Thunderbird was out front on the sign looking out over Highway 99. It is all about peace of mind.

Brett: Is this anywhere near the Twin Teepees restaurant on 99? Talk about a great place to eat... Oh, yeah and the sign here is great... and stuff...

Larry: The Twin Teepees is/was just north a few miles but they have been demolished :-( Brett you are making me weep. This is supposed to be about the Motel signs.

Brett: Right sorry. Here's a tissue. Now pull yourself together before I have to slap you around a little. OK, so the sign. Great sign, good colors, they could use some nice warm tones to balance out all of the blues, but it looks like some rust is creeping in there to take care of that.
